Plus, it's perhaps a bit closer to a big river and that might be it, you know, Darwin Harbour Barrett seems to be a bit of a nursery that may feedback and forth from Shoal Bay, but you just don't get those big numbers of bigger fish just randomly turning up in catches.

They probably take 10 minutes or so to get in, which is actually a really long time in fishing, so they are a great sport fish and right at Darwin Harbour there, right at the esplanade, 5 minute drive from the boat ramp.

Down towards um the Daly River, and then further on, right through into the Kimberley, if you've got that much fuel, and and if you go back around to the right, up to the sort of the north and the east, that'll get you to buy no harbour, and then back into Darwin Harbour.

They got bogged a heap of times, so they ran a bit late, but the party was fairly cranking, but by the time they did arrive, they crossed Darwin Harbour in an old 70 series land cruiser, which they converted to drive electrically, 7 kilometres up to 20 metres underwater.

We fished, oh, actually, Darwin Harbour was a bit of a slow day, 1st day. It was a bit windy that day, so we sort of couldn't get out where we sort of, um, really wanted to, but, um, you know, that's, that's the way it goes sometimes, but, um, yeah, then into Shoal Bay, sort of dozen barrow in there, on the flats and a few other things.

Um, but I, yeah, I've done a few days recently fishing for myself and um, you know, just a few mates and stuff and the barrow fishing, particularly in Darwin Harbour, um, has been really good.

It relates to Darwin Harbour. The original boat that I bought, and only sold a couple of years ago, was called Barefoot 2, and it was actually owned by Barefoot Marine, who was ran or owned and ran by Nigel Scullion, who's actually a former Northern Territory Senator these days.

Mud crabbing is huge in Darwin Harbour hasn't been commercially crabbed for over 20 years, so the stocks are well and truly up there and the, um, it's, it's really easy throughout um, dry season in particular to go, go out for half a day and come back with, with half a dozen or 10 mug crabs and a few fish.
