Bag a Barra — 17 April 2026 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio
Once it really warms up nicely on the floodplains and all those frogs and tadpoles and rainbow fish have another little breeding cycle over that full moon, we've just gone through, that sort of doubles that bait biomass again on the floodplain.
Bag a Barra — 10 April 2026 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio

What do we need to know before I let you go before Rio's in with the news headlines, Watty? New moon.
Fishing on Arvos — 18 February 2026 Fishing on Arvos
I did hear that last uh, full moon, that there was a heap of pelicans turned up, the kale's crossing too, and the crocodiles are eating the pelicans as well as the mullet and barrel.
Bag a Barra — 17 October 2025 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio
It's, it's actually a really popular spot to go and um, you can do a tour there to watch the turtles hatch on the uh, full moon and new moon as well.
Bag a Barra — 19 September 2025 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio
If you're parked up next to a barr spot at night, and especially if you've had a tough day fish, and you think there's none in there, and then they're buffing and popping all night long, especially on these full moon nights.
Bag a Barra — 13 June 2025 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio
So, there's a couple of different opportunities, and it, it, it will definitely happen, if it's not happening, sort of, this weekend over these um, big tides, we've got, perhaps the next full moon, and definitely by um, by that 1st um, moon in January.
Bag a Barra — 29 November 2024 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio

Bag a Barra — 24 September 2021 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio
Probably on the next bull or new moon, um, just depend on how much rain. A monsoon starting to, you know, mill around up above us here now, so expecting very wet weather um for the next few days, so that'll be, that'll be really good and hopefully get that happening.
Bag a Barra — 11 December 2020 Bag a Barra, Oz Off Road Radio
