How are you? Mate, going all right. I see that there's a lot of stuff coming out of the northern territory at the moment, promoting some of the festivals and events that are happening up there next year, which we'll obviously talk about, as I get a bit closer, as we've trying to promote the northern territory, because it's a place that we love. But mate, the $1000000 fish competition, which has been running for years, I don't think there's been the last year and now this year, it just seems to be more people catching tag fish, another one gone.

Yeah, that's right. Another one through the week, mate. So I think that's, um, would be 14 now for this year so far, so that's really good, and it's good that one's um, being caught, sort of, once this rain's really fired up too, that, like I said, I think last week, it does tend to get a bit harder to catch them. Well, they, you know, in previous, the, the catch rates have tagged, fish have gone down over these times.

So, yeah, it is good and it obviously shows how many people are still going fishing up here and um, yeah, I mean, 10 grand for one lucky fisher, not that. Good on him. Yeah, absolutely. Good on him.

That is for sure, mate. Now, obviously it's obviously pretty steamy up there this time of year. Are you around this Christmas up then, Top End? Or you're back down the farm? No, I'm up here, and because I'm too lazy to cook Christmas lunch, actually, mum and dad are coming up from the farm, so that's going to be good, but, yeah, I'm too lazy to cook a big feed, so I actually got onto Berry Springs, Tav, and a Boonamar, which you know, both of those pretty well, and I said, oh, can you have us for Christmas lunch?

And they both said, no, we're closed. We're on a break. So, you know, that's good for them, but um, it means that I'm going to have to go to woollies and bloody, buy pork or something, I suppose, isn't it? Okay, just put on some seafood and some barra.

Yeah, well, that's probably to go. I, um, I do have a few oysters in the thing we've got. I mean, this is fun. I mean, no, hang on.

I mean, fair dinkum. I mean, you're the fishing king. And you're going to go to woollies and buy a pork. Well, I mean, I eat enough.

I eat enough bloody fish throughout the season, mate, to be honest. Yeah, fairly for Christmas. Fair enough. Yeah, that's the way it goes, isn't it?

But, you know, like, it's probably pretty hard, actually. Yeah, I mean, he's coming up. It reminds me, maybe I'll get him to bring up an issue for a lamp chops. That'll be the go. You can have barrow and I'll have chops and then everyone will be happy.

When was the last time you ate Christmas up there? Because you go to the farm nearly every year, don't you? Yeah, well, that's right. And that's one of the reasons we are making a big effort to be at home this year is that since we've bought our joint here, sort of, uh, we've had 3 Christmases so far and we haven't had one at our place.

So, yeah, we're really keen just to hang around and um, look hook into the garden, enjoy the wet season, the storms and stuff like we keep saying about, and um, yeah, have a bit of Christmas up here, so it'll be good to get the olds up. It'll be a good time. You don't know about it when they get off the plane. Whoa.

They'll be like, they'll be like, hit like a brick. Yeah, they get off the plane, out of the aircon, and just get out and go, what about this? Yeah that's right. I mean, it is a...

I mean most people in Australia have pretty warm Christmases, don't they? Absolutely. being up here, a lot of people do the sort of every 2nd year thing down south. So, um, you know, we've probably got a crew of a dozen of us already that are, do the old homeless Christmas and, um, you know, that'll be, it's, it's just dial, but friends are as good as family and that's, that's all you need on Christmas day. Yeah, 100%.

You know, I'd love to do one time, we'll talk about it one day. I'd love to once do a white Christmas anyway. That would be something different. anyway.
