Try to catch this $1000000 fish. The boys are letting me down a little bit at the moment, though. Oh, mate, I tell you what, the whole $1000000 fish. I mean, it's, he's been hard to catch, any?

Yeah, well, he's been very lucy for the last 9 years. Evidently this year it's going to go off, but we'll see. Hopefully it's me on the end of it. Well, that doesn't a fish change at sex during its lifetime, so it's probably a female now.

Well, this is true, yeah. If it's someone catches one of the earlier ones, it certainly could have changed into a female once it got too bigger, yeah. Yeah, so how are they biting? So what's what's it like up there? Because I'm tipping the wet season to be building now, Watty?

and you're out on the boat still and what's this is this a business fishing day or are you just having a bit of fun? Yeah, no, that's right. I'm working really hard out here, mate. It's always work for me.

No, it's pretty, it's warm enough. We've had a bit of rain last few days, so things are actually cooling down a bit. There's a bit of a late start to the wet, but we had about 30 mil at my joint there out of town last night and but yeah, I mean, it's still hot. It's probably getting down to 26 overnight.

When you get a bit of rain, it's sort of be upside be 35 in the daytime, but we did have a couple of weeks there of sort of 38 and 39s, which is a bit oppressive. It's looking like a more traditional type summer period down here where we've had a few rolling storms in the afternoons, even in this part of the world that's, which has been pretty good, like hot during the morning and the day, and then all of a sudden, a couple of storms blowing over late in the day, which is always good. Water's the lawn. Yeah, nothing like when you get up.

Nothing like the monsoons, you get up there. Yeah, yeah, that's right. Well, I mean, those that sort of afternoon storms or storm every couple of weeks is just what those farmers want for their summer crops down that way, mate. so that's good.

Yeah, absolutely. Now, I was talking to me, mate, Rico earlier, he's in Perth. He's heading north from there and he's looking forward to hopefully getting a couple of light shows up around Darwin of a nighttime. When will they start up?

We're having them very regularly at the moment. yeah. Definitely the last couple of weeks, a lot of them have been sort of dry lightning. Um, which is sort of bad ones for fire, but, um, yeah, yesterday and the day before, um, sort of around Darwin and rural area was, biggest model lightning.

really good to watch and yeah, obviously if it brings some rain, it's all good. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And how they biting in general now, mate, because it's definitely a big change of the season. Is there more to be caught?

What's the behaviour of the fish at the minute? Yeah, well, today's gone a bit against the grain of what has been happening with everything really firing up and biting pretty well. We've got a couple of smaller barrow. But the bar have been pretty, pretty hard to catch today.

We've got a lot of other smaller fish. But yeah, the barrow had been a bit tricky. It might have been that rain that we had yesterday, just sort of stirred them up a little bit or the barometer or something, but yeah, we'll keep plugging away, mate. It's not over until we're back at the ramp.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, fair enough. And the bottle, eh? And by the way, that's like, well, this is actually, this is probably the main reason we're not getting any biker boys didn't bring any beers today. Yeah right.

I mean, how dare they? So are these customers, or these just mates? Well, these guys actually won this trip from a promotion I did earlier in the year to, yeah, to win a 5 day trip. Yeah, right, okay. Yeah, I mean, they should have plenty of spare cash now. Are they locals or are they from interstate?

No, they're all from Victoria, Mildura sort of area. Turned up with Nate B. To worry, mate, isn't it? I have to train him up a bit.

It's embarrassing. I mean, tell the b- they have a hard look at themselves. I mean, seriously. They probably thought it was included in the prize.

Oh yeah, right. Yeah. If I can afford that. Bloody hell.

Kidding, aren't you? I mean, they tell you, you're the next big thing up there, apparently. What are you? Next big thing.

Yeah. That's what I hear I thought already was. Well, you are to me.

I mean, to us here. I mean, he, I mean, you've, you know, you're on this show. We only have big things on this show, mate. That's right, yeah. You know?
