Lures & Flies

Barefoot isn't 'sponsored' by any particular lure company, which gives Watty the absolute freedom to select the very best lure for each and every situation, without having to worry about product placement to keep a supplier happy.

We support our local tackle shops, and they support us.

Every fly you tie on has also been meticulously hand-tied by Watty and field-tested and refined for years in the same areas you will be fishing. This ensures productivity and durability in the most important areas of every trip, providing clients with the best opportunity for success.

Testimonial

Had a fantastic day fishing for Barra and whatever else came our way. Caught my first (and second) Barra ever and plenty of other fish. Glenn is a great bloke and excellent guide. Every part of it was great. Met three mad blokes from Melbourne and had a ball. Lots of laughs and excellent fishing. Even without the fish the scenery and massive crocs made the day worthwhile!! 👍👍🍺

Testimonial

3 mates and I flew up from Perth for a 4 day mix trip with Glenn.
He was a fantastic host and good company, as well as arranging for us to be fed and watered and slicing up perfect sashimi and numus, each day. He was very tolerant of our modest fishing skills.
The weather was great and we went offshore for the first couple of days catching fantastic, coral trout, golden snapper and black dhufish, as well as hunting (successfully) tuna and mackerel, in crystal clear flat water. It was a lot of fun.
It was terrific going up the creeks as the tides improved for barra, although the change of season storm the night before slowed them up a bit, we still caught a few, and had a wonderful time, enjoying the fishing, the company, the birdlife, the scenery and a few quiet beverages.
We will be back next year and in the meantime we highly recommend Glenn as guide to anyone who wants to experience the joys of the Territory.
