Bensbach River, Papua New Guinea

Been looking for an angling adventure of a lifetime? Then look no further, as we offer exclusive fishing tours on the remote Bensbach River in Papua New Guinea, the greatest barramundi fishery on Earth!

From the palm-lined river to the endless floodplains, a trip to Bensbach is a life-changing experience. An environment teeming with wildlife, rusa deer, wallabies, jabirus, and crocodiles, this is as close to a natural state as you are likely to find, and that goes for the fishing as well!

Boasting more barra over one meter long than anywhere else in the world and hundreds of sub meter fish caught weekly, there's nothing that comes close!

Bristol Bay, Alaska USA

Any angler in the world will surely be delighted when they hear the words "Bristol Bay." Millions of Salmon return to their area rivers to spawn each year. Over half the world's red salmon spawn here, making it a favourite spot among Alaska fishing enthusiasts.

Coinciding their angling with the migration so they can match wits with the five species in the region, the chinook (king), chum (dog), sockeye (red), pink (humpback) and the coho (silver).

As with all bone fishing trips, there are good days, bad days and then there are days where you just get skunked! The tide, wind and weather all factor into your ability to see and make accurate presentations to entice a bite but there is always realistic potential for a big haul and both novices and experts are sure to enjoy themselves.

Crocodile Bay Resort, Costa Rica

Crocodile Bay Resort, situated in Puerto Jiménez on Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula, offers a blend of world-class fishing and eco-adventures in one of the country's most biodiverse regions.

Lake Murray, Papua New Guinea

Lake Murray is located in the middle Fly District of the Western Province of PNG and covers around 650 square kilometres, but increases up to five times the size in the wet season.

 

Lake Murray and the surrounding rivers have consistently proven that there is an untapped amount of the mighty PNG black bass with a bycatch of barramundi.

 

There are five rivers that lead into and out of the main lake providing endless fishing opportunities. 

Owen River Lodge, New Zealand

Owen River Lodge is located in the Murchison/Nelson Lakes region of the South Island  of New Zealand. The location provides the travelling angler with an enormous choice and variety of rivers, streams and lakes to fish, guests have over 29 rivers and streams accessible to them within a 90-minute drive.

 

Owen River Lodge is within eyesight of the boundary of Kahurangi National Park meaning you can quickly and easily fly into another dozen or so stunning wilderness streams via helicopter.

All these elements add together to make a justified claim that that Owen River Lodge has the best sighted brown trout river fishery in the world at its doorstep.

River Plate, Uruguay

Marking the border of Uruguay and Argentina, the River Plate has truly epic proportions and so does its fish!

In an attempt to corral the river and harness its tremendous force, a massive hydroelectric dam was constructed in 1979 that can produce power for up to one million homes.

Not only that, the environment created below the dam with it's swirling currents and huge mass of baitfish, produces without a doubt the biggest golden dorado on the planet and they have the receipts to prove it!

Silver King Lodge, Costa Rica

Silver King Lodge, located in Barra del Colorado on Costa Rica's northeastern Caribbean coast, is renowned for its exceptional tarpon fishing. Situated approximately 230 kilometers from San José, the lodge is nestled within the Barra del Colorado Wildlife Refuge, the country's second-largest rainforest preserve, encompassing 230,000 acres of tropical forest, fluvial islands, channels, and swamplands.

The lodge offers unparalleled access to both resident and migratory tarpon populations, with fish often exceeding 100 pounds. Anglers can also target species such as snook, jack crevalle, and mackerel in the surrounding rivers, creeks, and lagoons. Offshore excursions provide opportunities to catch tuna, wahoo, and sailfish.
